Fluted Dalton with serration and alternating bevel. Flute extends 26 mm on obverse. No flute on reverse.

Gray Day Site, 23SCxxx

Fluted Dalton with serration and alternating bevel.

Length = 53.3 mm, width = 24.9 mm, thickness = 6.7 mm, and weight = 8.6 grams.

Basal and lateral grinding positive. Obverse flute measures 26.2 mm and reverse flute 1 measures 15.9 mm and flute 2 measures 18.4 mm. Depth of basal concavity 9.1 mm.

Heavily resharpened Dalton with double burinated tip and alternating bevel. Lateral and basal grinding positive.  Length = 50.5 mm, width = 23.9 mm, thickness = 6.5 mm, and weight = 5.9 grams. 

Afton/Etley point out of heat treated chert. 

Length = 117.1 mm, width = 41.8 mm, thickness = 14.9 mm, and weight = 58.3 grams.

Fluted Dalton with serration and alternating bevel. Basal and lateral grinding positive. Obverse flute measures 16.7 mm. 

Length = 66.6 mm, width = 26.6 mm, thickness = 8.6 mm, and thickness = 8.8 grams.

Snyders Point out of heat treated chert.

Length = 60.3 mm, width = 33.4 mm, thickness = 7.8 mm, and weight = 9.5 grams.

Clovis point manufactured from white chert (probably Crescent?) found on 5 May 2025.

Basal grinding positive and lateral grinding 27 mm on on side and 32.8 mm on the other side. Obverse flute 1 measures 25.5 mm and flute 2 measures 16 mm. Reverse flute measures 31.6 mm. Depth of basal concavity 6.0 mm. 

The Gray Day Site, 23SCxxx, was discovered in 2025 as a result of bulldozing brush from a fencerow on a low knoll overlooking a small tributary creek that drains directly to the Mississippi River. The site is on private property and not open to the public. 

Fluted Dalton with 2 tip burins. 

Flute extends 17.7 mm on obverse and reverse flute measures 17.6 mm. Lateral and basal grinding positive. Length =  60.9 mm, width = 29.7 mm, thickness = 8.09 mm, and weight = 11.9 grams

Serrated Dalton with alternating bevel.

Length = 73.2 mm, width = 24.1 mm, thickness = 6.6 mm, and weight = 10. grams.
