This petroglyph site is protected by the staff of Washington State Park; the petroglyph viewing area is open dusk to dawn and can be safely seen from an observation deck. The cupules and cup and groove designs "maybe" as old as the Archaic Period. The figural designs of serpents, birds, humans are mostly likely Mississippian though there was also evidence of Middle Woodland presence at the site.
